Happy Friday!

Well at least I think it is Friday, lol. Quarantine is definitely settling in and if wasn't for the fact that my birthday is tomorrow, I wouldn't know what day it is, haha! Seeing as we have so much time on our hands as of late, I've been playing with all the makeup I have at home a lot more. I've collected so much makeup over the years, and it's been a hobby of mine since middle school, probably. Just another fun, creative, artistic outlet for me; like painting, but on your face (:

So, while I've been playing with makeup, I thought I would share some photos of the looks I come up. Definitely, not a tutorial because I rarely watch those anymore, and am not a makeup artist; nevertheless, I like makeup and maybe these can be inspiration for you to play while we're inside and #stayinghome.

We're calling this 'Barbie Dreams'...I rarely ever wear pink eyeshadow, but I thought this was so fun for Spring and Summer. It reminded of Barbie's Dreamhouse, haha. Did anyone have one of those as kid?!

Take a pink on the lid, blend out with an orange, and then a yellow around the edges. Add a light pink glittery shade on the center of the lid, and a light, shimmery yellow in the inner corner. Pop on a gloss, and there's the look!

My 'Beauty Babe' Pinterest board (@Miss Mangaroo) is where I get most of my makeup inspiration. Whenever I want to do something creative, I head over there and see what catches my eye, and try it out. Here was today's inspiration! I don't know who owns the photo, so if you do let me know!

Products used: Juvia's Place 'Zulu' palette ; Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Amrezy' palette; Colourpop x Sailor Moon Ultra Glossy Lip in 'Sailor Moon'

I hope you liked this quick little post, and it brightened your day and gave you so creative inspiration with your makeup! If you try it out, tag me on Instagram @missmangaroo. Stay safe and healthy!!

Stay stylish,
