Purple Rain

Happy Thursday lovely,

It has literally been a month since my last post, and I can't promise it won't happen again, lol. Seriously though, I have been trying to keep to a schedule of Tuesday/Thursday posts. These past few weeks have gotten away from me.

I took some time to be off social media while in quarantine and just did nothing, which was great for me! I painted, played with makeup, relaxed in the backyard, and just rested. Then, I went back to work. And well, you know how that goes. So, it's been three weeks since I started working again (in a very limited capacity for safety, of course), and I've missed blogging!

Wanted to share a QUICK little makeup post today. We're calling this 'Purple Rain' and ooh do I love me some purple shadow. My favorite color, and arguably the prettiest color on brown eyes *chef's kiss*.

I played with the new Juvia's Place 'The Violets' palette and the 'Amrezy' from Anastasia Beverly Hills for this look. This filter made it look electric and a little on the pink side, but gorgeous nonetheless! Peep my Strangers Things sweatshirt..because we're business up top and quarantine everywhere else haha.

Here's what I did...

Took a matte lilac in the crease

Blended a mid-tone purple over that

Packed a deep matte purple in outer corner

Tapped a shimmery blue-purple on center of lid

Tapped a shimmery pinky-purple on inner corner of lid

Blended edges with a matte light pink

Line lower lashline with same colors

No inspiration from my 'Beauty Babe' Pinterest page. I just opened up some palettes and had some fun!

If I could wear one color of eyeshadow every day, it would definitely be purple! What's your favorite color of eyeshadow to wear?
