Girls just wanna have sun

Happy Tuesday lovely,

It's day [unknown] in quarantine, and this new normal is pretty strange, but we're hanging in there. How are you doing with this? What are you doing to keep occupied and to pass the time? Me? Well I did another fun look to brighten spirits because girls just wanna have some sun!

Today's makeup, also inspired by a look I pinned on my 'Beauty Babe' board feels so perfect for Spring. Bright, cheery, and bold; just exactly what we need in this season of life. It kind of reminds me of those macaw birds that are blue and yellow.

I had a lot of fun with this look because I never really wear yellow eyeshadow, but I ended up loving it! Blue shadow is one of my faves, and the combination of them was so electric. I played a lot with the snapchat filters because the makeup looked so good in different effects/lighting.

Take a yellow shadow (any shade will work, but pick something that compliments your skin tone) and pack it all on the lid, and blend out the edges. Take any bright teal (I used a dark and a light version) and smudge that under your lower lash line. Pop on a gloss, a little bronzer, and you're done! It really was such a simple look, and that technique can be used with any color combination you want!
