Feeling fall yet?

Happy first few days of Fall! It's definitely nowhere close to feeling like Fall here in South Florida, but a girl can dream and reminisce about days past in Autumn air. Are you a pumpkin spice latte kinda person? Did you decorate yet and bust out all the candles? This year I think we're going to paint pumpkins instead of carving them!

Fall is probably my favorite season when it comes to fashion because you can create so many versatile looks with basic pieces. Today, I wanted to share a few staple accessories I love for Fall fashion. You can incorporate any one or all of these pieces into your wardrobe this season; and if you have some of these already, then try them out in different colors for even more versatility!

I'm pretty simplistic when it comes to my style, so I love finding accessories that I can pair with outfits to switch up the look. One of those is a good hat. It's the perfect way to finish off your look, and my personal favorite for bad hair days....anyone else?! A classic fedora style hat looks good on everyone. And yes, curly guys and gals...hats are for you too! I recommend a black or brown one if you don't already have one. If you do, add an olive or blush pink one this season. Women's Fedora Hat

Let's talk sunglasses. It's definitely still sunny and bright out this time of year, so sunglasses are a must. I'm loving these Gucci dupe sunglasses that were recommended by Rach Parcell from Pink Peonies (she's got great Amazon finds, go check her out). Very chic and perfect for Fall, and under $20! I bought the black and tortoise shell versions. They have a red pair that I'm eyeing too! Red accessories are my favorite pop of color in the Fall.

I'm a low-key purse collector, and a good purse is such a necessity for Fall fashion. It's the perfect complement to any outfit, and an easy way to add some visual interest to your look if you're like me and wear all black all the time (the New Yorker in me, lol). Here's a few of my favorites that I'll be rocking this season...which is your favorite?

An underrated accessory (in my opinion) is a belt. It can really pull an outfit together and break up a monochromatic look. The larger belt buckle trend has been popular for the last few seasons thanks to the Gucci belt, but who remembers the Moschino logo belt from years ago? Amazon has some great belt options to get the look, but at a fraction of the cost. Already have a black and brown belt? Try one in leopard or snakeskin print for a little more fun!
