Happy Tuesday!
A few days ago was the first day of Spring, and it always makes me a little excited because it means my birthday is near! Team Aries, where ya at?! Social distancing has definitely put a damper on my birthday plans, but that doesn't mean I can't be dressed up with nowhere to go.
I'm always putting together outfit ideas in my head (I used to and sometimes still do want to be a stylist). A key to making your wardrobe stretch is to be able to mix and match pieces, so that one item gives you multiple outfits. It allows you to be a little creative in coming up with outfits and see your closet in new ways. Now, this isn't a revolutionary idea, but it's something I enjoy doing, and I hope you do to!
I found this dress on Amazon last minute before an event, and got tons of compliments on it. It's a super simple, lightweight, floral wrap dress and was less than $30! Florals for spring? Such a novel idea, I know, haha. But they really are so perfect for warmer weather, and actually can be worn into the Fall if paired with the right accessories.
Here's a couple variations to this easy wrap dress that you can wear on a casual day out, Sunday brunch with your girls, and a slightly more dressed up version perfect for a Spring or Summer outdoor wedding.
Love the versatility of something like a wrap dress because you can throw on a jacket and Chucks to run some errands; comfy, but put together (in case you run into anyone at the grocery store ,lol). Pop on a hat and cute sandals and head out for lunch. Switch out your sandals for heels, and a clutch in a fun pop of color for a daytime wedding.
I've linked to as many things, with links to similar items if some items are old/sold out.
I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy style remix. Not exactly sure what to call these, so if you have any suggestions let me know! We can chat more on Instagram @missmangaroo!
Stay stylish,
